Hitman Beta Rollout Starts Next Week

Eager for a peek at the next installment of the Hitman franchise? Publisher Square Enix only dropped a new trailer, dubbed World of Assassination, and revealed details about the upcoming beta.

"The world of assassination is a place of hidden violence, hole-and-corner deals, and bloody murder," Foursquare Enix wrote in a blog post. "It is the earth where agencies such as the ICA work in the shadows to bring balance — it is the setting for by, nowadays, and future Hitman games."

The game is slated to launch March 11 on PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC, merely those who take pre-ordered the Full Feel or the new Intro Pack will have "guaranteed" admission to the beta, Foursquare Enix said. The Hitman Beta will exist available first on PS4 from Feb. 12 through Feb. xiv before arriving on PC February. xix through Feb. 21.

On the PlayStation blog, developer IO Interactive's Community Manager Travis Barbour said the game's episodic construction was inspired past TV, and volition unfold over multiple seasons.

"The episodic nature of Hitman allows u.s.a. to craft both individual stories centered on Agent 47's targets as well equally longer season stories involving 47, Diana Burnwood, the ICA, and an entirely new main cast," he said.
